At first Harry blames Peter for his father’s death and goes on the warpath, attacking Peter with different weapons that were created with the Green Goblin technology. However, in January of 2010, Raimi decided to back out of the project saying that he didn’t think he would be able to uphold a quality film project with the creativity expected with a deadline so near (a year and a couple months). This led to the cancellation of the entire project by Sony Pictures and ended the Spiderman saga as fans had come to know it.

Nevertheless, Sony did announce that they would be “rebooting” the project in 2012. This means that fans don’t need to despair, too much at least. This reboot will have an entirely new feel to it as the directors have changed and the cast will likely be completely different.
